Queen Phinadon Commends Hon. Adindu’s Appointment as ABSSAA Director-General.

Founder of the Queen Phinadon Touching Lives Foundation, Convener of the Phinadon Awards and Chief Executive Officer of PDMI Solutions, Chief Amb. Delight Benson (Queen Phinadon), has congratulated Hon. Godwin Adindu on his appointment as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Abia State Structures for Signage and Advertising Agency (ABSSAA).

In a statement issued in Umuahia, Queen Phinadon described the appointment as well deserved, citing Adindu’s more than four decades of experience and proven record in journalism, advertising, public relations, academia and public administration.

She commended Governor Alex Otti for demonstrating a commitment to excellence and professionalism through the appointment.

ABSSAA is responsible for regulating outdoor advertising, signage displays and mobile branding permits across Abia State.

Adindu, a distinguished communicator and media strategist, currently serves as Publicity Secretary of the Abia State chapter of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, an adjunct lecturer at Clifford University, Managing Partner of Goodwill Communication Limited and Executive Director of Quints Marketing Solutions Limited.

He is a former Director-General of the Abia State Orientation Agency and former Chief Press Secretary to Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu. An alumnus of Andrews University, Michigan, he holds an MSc in Media and Communication from Pan-Atlantic University and a postgraduate diploma in Public Policy Analysis from the University of Calabar.

Queen Phinadon expressed confidence that his expertise would contribute significantly to ABSSAA’s development and effective service delivery.

NAF Aircraft Crashes in Ondo State During Routine Mission.

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has confirmed that one of its aircraft crashed in the Igbokoda area of Ondo State early Monday.

According to the NAF Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, the aircraft was conducting a routine mission when the incident occurred. He added that a rescue operation was underway.

Reports indicate that several people aboard the aircraft may have died, although the NAF has not released an official casualty figure.

Further details are expected as rescue and investigation efforts continue.

32 People Confirmed Aboard Military Aircraft That Crashed in Ondo.

The Federal Government has confirmed that 32 people were aboard a military aircraft that crashed near the Naval Base in Igbokoda, Ondo State, on Monday.

Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, disclosed the development in a statement following reports that the aircraft, with tail number NGR 931, had disappeared while travelling from Benin to Lagos.

According to the minister, air traffic controllers lost contact with the aircraft at approximately 9:13 a.m. after repeated attempts to establish radio communication with its crew proved unsuccessful.

The aircraft was later located after crashing near the naval facility. Preliminary information indicated that 25 passengers and seven crew members were on board.

Keyamo stated that search and rescue operations were ongoing and assured the public that his ministry would cooperate fully with the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, and the relevant authorities.

He added that further details would be released as more information becomes available.

Lagos Police identify officers captured on camera in alleged N20,000 extortion case ( VIDEO).

The Lagos State Police Command has identified officers captured in a viral video allegedly collecting N20,000 from a man before releasing his motorcycle.

According to the Command, the officers are attached to the Makinde Divisional Headquarters and have been directed to report to the Command Headquarters for questioning.

The development follows footage in which the man claimed that he was compelled to pay the money before his motorcycle was released. The officers’ faces were clearly visible in the video.

The Command stated that the officers are being interviewed as part of an investigation ordered by the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Tijani Fatai.

“The investigation is ongoing and appropriate action will be taken based on its findings,” the Command said.
