The current season of Big Brother has become embroiled in controversy following an incident where a housemate was inadvertently exposed on live television. Sultana, one of the contestants, was changing in the dressing area when her outfit slipped, resulting in brief nudity captured by the live cameras.

While producers promptly cut the feed, the moment was witnessed by some viewers, triggering a wave of mixed reactions across social media platforms. Many have criticized the show, alleging an invasion of Sultana’s privacy and questioning the presence of cameras during changing times. Others defend the incident as an unintentional error.

Online commentary reflects divided opinions. Some users question Sultana’s judgment in changing clothes in a mixed-gender environment, while others accuse her of intentionality or suggest the show deliberately orchestrated the event for publicity. Veteran Nollywood actor Pete Edochie has described Chinua Achebe’s 1958 novel, Things Fall Apart, as the greatest African book ever written.
