Portable Threatens Legal Action Against Defamation.

Following his recent arrest and temporary detainment related to alleged criminal defamation against Fuji musician Saheed Osupa, controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, known as Portable, has vowed to pursue legal action against anyone who defames him.
In a widely circulated video, Portable declared his intention to ensure the arrest of individuals who engage in defamatory speech against him. Citing his own experience with legal repercussions for defamation, the “Zazu” crooner stated, “Whoever talks bad about me or defames me will be arrested. They have done it to me, and I will do it to anybody too. There is no mercy.”
This declaration follows Portable’s remand at the Oke Kura Correctional Centre in Ilorin after failing to meet initial bail conditions. He was subsequently released after Saheed Osupa withdrew the petition against him. The incident appears to have solidified Portable’s resolve to vigorously defend his reputation through legal means.

Fireboy DML Claims Immunity to Heartbreak.

Nigerian Afrobeats artist, Fireboy DML, recently made the bold declaration that he has never experienced heartbreak. In an interview, the “Playboy” singer stated his desire for such an experience, but ultimately decided against it, citing the potential detrimental impact on his career and well-being.
The 29-year-old suggests that heartbreak is often self-inflicted, a consequence of ignoring warning signs in relationships. While acknowledging the pain inherent in heartbreak, Fireboy DML maintains that avoiding it is a conscious choice he is making to safeguard his current trajectory.
Whether this stance is a calculated move to control his narrative or a genuine reflection of his experiences remains to be seen. However, such a definitive statement invites scrutiny and raises the question of whether genuine artistic depth can be achieved without navigating the complexities of emotional vulnerability. Time will tell if this avoidance proves beneficial or ultimately limits his artistic expression.
