Popular financial expert and social media personality Gehgeh has cautioned social media activist VeryDarkMan about his newly launched power bank and power station business.

The warning followed reports that a 40-foot container carrying VeryDarkMan’s products had arrived. Gehgeh expressed concern that the venture could place the activist in a position where he might benefit from Nigeria’s persistent electricity challenges.

“If there is light, you may not be able to sell your power banks and power stations,” he said.

Gehgeh argued that VeryDarkMan should have pursued construction instead, suggesting that his large following and public credibility could have helped him secure government contracts.

He further advised VeryDarkMan to sell the power products to businessman B-Lord and return to activism and online monitoring.

Nigerian rapper Emeka Akumefule, popularly known as Blaqbonez, has questioned whether successful people would choose to spend their retirement in Nigeria.

Speaking on The Zeze Millz Show, the rapper described Nigeria as “hectic” while acknowledging its importance as home. He said travelling abroad had made him more aware of the gap between Nigeria and other countries in terms of development and quality of life.

“Nigeria is hectic, but it is still home. When you go to other countries, you will realise how far we are from where we should be,” he said.

Blaqbonez further stated that he found it difficult to imagine many successful Nigerians remaining in the country after leaving active employment.

“I don’t think that there is any successful person who wants to live in Nigeria after retirement. Maybe there are some people,” he remarked.

Discussing his own plans, the rapper said he hoped to retire on a large ranch, where he could raise animals. He suggested that such a lifestyle was not commonly associated with Nigeria, highlighting broader concerns about the country’s infrastructure, living conditions and retirement prospects.
