According to reports from Naija News, the incident occurred when Nnadiekwe was allegedly kicked in the chest by colleague Zubby Michael. Nnadiekwe detailed the ordeal in a series of posts on his Instagram page, asserting that the kick was not part of the scripted action nor approved by the film’s director.

Nnadiekwe described the immediate aftermath of the incident, stating that the blow resulted in significant pain requiring immediate medical attention. He further claimed that the production team did not offer any assistance with the medical expenses incurred. In his social media posts, Nnadiekwe emphasized the importance of prioritizing safety on set, particularly in the absence of insurance policies and readily available first aid. He urged his colleagues to adhere strictly to the script and ensure that all physical actions are intentional and within the director’s vision.

“Just wanted to share an incident that happened on set a few days ago. This isn’t to call anyone out, but it’s a serious reminder to prioritise each other’s safety on set,” Nnadiekwe wrote. “During a scene, I received a kick to the chest from my colleague who wasn’t part of the script or directed by the director… It’s caused me serious pain.”
