Wofai Fada Officially Ties the Knot with Taiwo Cole
Nollywood actress and media personality Wofai Fada has recently celebrated her marriage to Taiwo Cole in a formal registry ceremony. This legal union follows a traditional wedding that took place in Calabar, Cross River, which sparked significant controversy online due to the reactions from Taiwo’s family.
Shortly after the traditional ceremony, the Cole family publicly distanced themselves from the union. In a statement, they asserted, “This serves to notify all acquaintances, family, and friends that the Cole family of Victoria Island, Lagos, are not aware of any marriage ceremony involving our son, Taiwo Olakitan Cole; nor did we grant permission or support in this regard.” The family further urged the public to disregard any claims relating to Wofai’s new status as part of the Cole family.
Despite the external turbulence, Wofai expressed her joy and commitment through a heartfelt message on her Instagram page, sharing enchanting photos from the civil ceremony at the Ikoyi Registry. She beautifully stated, “Every love story is beautiful, but ours is my favourite. Legally hitched. @taiwo.cole.7 #TWOforever. #MrsCole. #2 of 3, and forever to go.”
