Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have arrested two suspected kidnappers during a coordinated operation in Gubio Local Government Area of Borno State.

The development was disclosed in a post shared on X (formerly Twitter) on Monday by security analyst Zagazola Makama.

According to the report, the suspects were apprehended around 6:00 p.m. on Sunday following credible intelligence on the activities of a kidnapping syndicate operating in the area.

Joint Effort With Hybrid Force

Sources revealed that troops of the 5 Brigade, working in collaboration with members of the Hybrid Force, executed the operation that led to the successful tracking and arrest of the suspects.

During the operation, security operatives recovered one AK-47 rifle and a magazine from the suspects.

Ongoing Counter-Kidnapping Efforts

The military confirmed that the operation formed part of ongoing efforts to combat kidnapping and other criminal activities across the region.

Operation Hadin Kai continues to intensify intelligence-driven missions aimed at weakening terrorist and criminal networks in Borno State and the wider North-East.
