Controversial social media personality VeryDarkMan has publicly criticized prominent Nigerian musicians Burna Boy, Davido, and Wizkid for their recent acquisitions of expensive vehicles. In a viral Instagram video, VeryDarkMan, known for his critical commentary, questioned the timing and optics of these purchases. He specifically challenged Davido, with whom he claims a personal connection, to demonstrate tangible contributions to his home state of Osun and to Nigeria as a whole. VeryDarkMan argued that these artists, having benefited significantly from Nigeria and their fans, have a responsibility to contribute to the nation’s growth and the well-being of their supporters. The critic’s remarks have ignited a debate about wealth display and social responsibility among Nigeria’s elite.
Nigerian singer Euphemia Ekumah, known professionally as GoodGirl LA, has declared that she will never get married. In a recent Instagram post, Soberekon outlined the terms: N100 million for the winner and N20 million for the loser. He emphasized settling the dispute through physical confrontation rather than online arguments, stating, “Let’s turn this online cruise into real-life bruises!” The proposed venue is the KFT Event Center in Warri, Delta State.
This offer is not Soberekon’s first foray into funding celebrity fights, suggesting a continued interest in resolving public disputes through organized boxing matches. The offer awaits acceptance from both VeryDarkMan and Portable.
