Music star Joseph Akinwale Akinfenwa-Donus, professionally known as Joeboy, has recently shared his intriguing views on early marriage, expressing a strong preference for it. The artist articulated a desire to marry in his twenties, envisioning the joy of having teenage children by the time he reaches his forties.

Joeboy’s perspective was significantly influenced by an interview with Nollywood actor Timini Egbuson. Egbuson, despite his reputation as a “ladies’ man,” expressed regret at not having married earlier. This sentiment resonated deeply with Joeboy, who mused that if someone with such a lifestyle could advocate for early marriage, there must be inherent value in it.

The 29-year-old artist, however, also revealed a desire for privacy regarding his marital status. He stated that should he marry soon, the event would be kept secret from the public, with the news only emerging once he has welcomed three or more children. Joeboy emphasized that while societal timing for marriage is often discussed, the true essence lies in genuine love and readiness. He believes that marrying early to a beloved partner would be a “cute” and fulfilling experience, allowing him to enjoy a significant portion of his children’s upbringing.
