Atu “Krayzeetee” Terver, the Principal Special Assistant on Youth and Media Mobilization to Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia, has been found alive days after his abduction in Abuja.
The news was confirmed by his wife, who shared the development on social media alongside a photograph showing Terver lying weak and visibly bruised. She captioned the post: “Praise to God who is Worthy of all Honour and Glory.” The image suggests he may have endured torture while in captivity.
Terver was seized earlier in the week under unclear circumstances. Shortly after the incident, he managed to place a brief distress call, telling his wife, “I have been abducted, call mummy,” before communication was cut off.
As of the time of this report, neither the Benue State Government nor security agencies have released an official statement on how he regained his freedom or whether any suspects have been apprehended.
