Recent clearance operations conducted by troops of Operation Hadin Kai in Borno State have resulted in the neutralization of seven suspected Boko Haram and Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) fighters. Security analyst Zagazola Makama reported the details of these separate engagements, highlighting the coordinated efforts of Nigerian forces to disrupt terrorist activities in the region.

On Wednesday, troops neutralized six insurgents attempting to loot supplies near Rann, recovering AK-47 rifles and ammunition. Separately, an ambush near Komala village in Damboa Local Government Area resulted in the death of one insurgent and the recovery of motorcycles and materials used in the production of Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs).

These operations, according to military sources, are part of an ongoing strategy to restrict terrorist movement and enhance civilian security within the operational theatre. The Nigerian military remains committed to combating insurgency and ensuring the safety and stability of the region.
