Quick Summary:
Nigerian midfielder Raphael Onyedika decides to remain with Club Brugge despite transfer interest from Galatasaray and Wolfsburg.

Raphael Onyedika, the Nigeria international midfielder, has agreed to stay with Club Brugge until the end of the current season, despite strong transfer interest from Galatasaray and VfL Wolfsburg.

According to reports, Onyedika reached the decision after discussions with Club Brugge’s management, opting to see out the season with the Belgian Pro League side.

Transfer Interest Rebuffed

Galatasaray made an early move to sign the 22-year-old midfielder during the January transfer window, but the Turkish champions failed to meet Club Brugge’s valuation.

Similarly, Wolfsburg’s €20 million bid was rejected outright, as Brugge remained firm on their asking price and unwilling to lose a key player mid-season.

Summer Move Expected

Onyedika, who joined Club Brugge from FC Midtjylland in 2022, is now expected to revisit transfer options in the summer, when he will have one year left on his contract.

The midfielder has been a consistent performer for Brugge this season, attracting attention from several European clubs for his composure, defensive strength, and passing range.
