PSG firmly decided Not To Pay Kylian Mbappe’s €55 Million Debt.

In a notable development, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has firmly decided to withhold a substantial payment of €55 million owed to Kylian Mbappé, despite a setback in their legal proceedings. The French league’s appeals commission recently ruled against PSG, compelling the club to honor its financial obligation to the former star striker. However, the club has indicated its intention to escalate the matter to a court setting.
A spokesperson from PSG announced in an interview with RMC Sport that the club aims to bring the case before the appropriate courts while simultaneously seeking an amicable resolution with Mbappé. The club contends that they owe nothing to the player, asserting that he voluntarily waived his entitlement to the sum when he agreed to rejoin the first-team squad during the prior season.
Following his summer move to Real Madrid, Mbappé is now pursuing the total amount owed and has declined PSG’s attempts at mediation. In their statement, PSG reminded that the player had made clear commitments that they expect him to honor, emphasizing the extraordinary benefits he received during his tenure in Paris.
While PSG expresses a hopeful intent to resolve the matter amicably, preparations are underway for potential legal confrontations. The spokesperson cautioned that should Mbappé opt to continue pursuing the dispute, the club would have no choice but to seek legal recourse, highlighting issues of good faith and respect for the institution.
As this legal saga unfolds, Kylian Mbappé is focused on his new journey with Real Madrid, preparing for the high-stakes El Clásico match against Barcelona this weekend. The situation underscores the complexities inherent in high-profile football contracts and the critical balance between legal obligations and professional integrity.

Chelsea Supporters Demand Premier League Inquiry into Boehly’s Ticket Resale Link.

The Chelsea Supporters Trust (CST) has formally requested that the Premier League investigate a potential conflict of interest involving Chelsea co-owner, Todd Boehly, and the ticket resale website, Vivid Seats. In an open letter addressed to Premier League CEO Richard Masters, the CST highlights Boehly’s position on the board of directors of Vivid Seats, a platform the Premier League itself identifies as an “unauthorised ticket website.”
The CST statement emphasizes that Vivid Seats actively lists Premier League tickets at inflated prices, directly contravening Chelsea FC’s ticketing policy and undermining efforts to combat ticket touting. The Trust deems Boehly’s association with the website a “breach of trust” and a “clear conflict of interest,” urging the Premier League to take action and initiate a thorough investigation into the matter. The league has yet to respond publicly to the CST’s request.
