While Kyenret and Favour are the biological daughters of the Water Board MD, Nanlop Dalak Tanko is a close relative who also works with the Jos Water Service Corporation.

During the assault, the family’s security guard, identified as Benard Makjwan, was shot in the stomach while attempting to resist the attackers.
