Pep Guardiola Commends Emerging Star Savinho Following Dominant Champions League Victory

In a striking display of prowess, Manchester City secured a 5-0 victory over Sparta Praha in their recent Champions League encounter at the Etihad Stadium. The match showcased the talents of several key players, including Phil Foden, Erling Haaland, John Stones, and Matheus Nunes, all of whom contributed to the emphatic win.
Amidst the celebrations, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola took a moment to commend young winger Savinho, who impressed with his performance throughout the match. At only 20 years of age, Savinho has quickly adapted to the rigors of the Premier League champions. Guardiola noted that despite joining the team only three months ago, the winger’s skill level is “really, really high” and highlighted his versatility in playing on both flanks.
Guardiola also acknowledged the foundational work done by Míchel at Girona, attributing Savinho’s rapid development to his previous coaching. “He’s playing really good… his level is really, really, really high,” Guardiola remarked, underscoring the potential he sees in the young talent.
Looking ahead, Guardiola’s side will turn their focus to the Premier League, where they are set to face Southampton in their next fixture. As the season progresses, all eyes will be on Savinho as he continues to make a significant impact in the squad.

Chelsea Supporters Demand Premier League Inquiry into Boehly’s Ticket Resale Link.

The Chelsea Supporters Trust (CST) has formally requested that the Premier League investigate a potential conflict of interest involving Chelsea co-owner, Todd Boehly, and the ticket resale website, Vivid Seats. In an open letter addressed to Premier League CEO Richard Masters, the CST highlights Boehly’s position on the board of directors of Vivid Seats, a platform the Premier League itself identifies as an “unauthorised ticket website.”
The CST statement emphasizes that Vivid Seats actively lists Premier League tickets at inflated prices, directly contravening Chelsea FC’s ticketing policy and undermining efforts to combat ticket touting. The Trust deems Boehly’s association with the website a “breach of trust” and a “clear conflict of interest,” urging the Premier League to take action and initiate a thorough investigation into the matter. The league has yet to respond publicly to the CST’s request.
