Former Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves has expressed concerns regarding the workload of striker Rasmus Hojlund as the team prepares for its upcoming Premier League match against West Ham United. Hargreaves’ comments followed Manchester United’s recent 1-1 draw with Fenerbahce in the Europa League, during which Hojlund made a second-half appearance.

In his remarks on TNT Sports, Hargreaves stated, “He [Ten Hag] is worried about Hojlund and his minutes; he knows he needs him for West Ham at the weekend.” This sentiment underscores the increasing pressure on Manchester United’s management as they navigate a challenging season.

The former England international also reflected on United’s recent performance, deeming their results in the Europa League insufficient. “Three points after three [Europa League] games isn’t good enough, clearly,” he noted, capturing the prevailing sentiment of discontent among fans and analysts alike.

As Erik ten Hag prepares his squad for the encounter with West Ham, it remains to be seen how he will manage Hojlund’s minutes while seeking a much-needed victory in the league.

The Chelsea Supporters Trust (CST) has formally requested that the Premier League investigate a potential conflict of interest involving Chelsea co-owner, Todd Boehly, and the ticket resale website, Vivid Seats. The CST statement emphasizes that Vivid Seats actively lists Premier League tickets at inflated prices, directly contravening Chelsea FC’s ticketing policy and undermining efforts to combat ticket touting. The Trust deems Boehly’s association with the website a “breach of trust” and a “clear conflict of interest,” urging the Premier League to take action and initiate a thorough investigation into the matter. The league has yet to respond publicly to the CST’s request.
