The Nollywood film industry is in mourning following the death of veteran actor Fabian Adibe, who passed away at the age of 82. The news was confirmed by Seun Oloketuyi, CEO of Best Nollywood (BON), in a social media post early Wednesday.
Adibe was a celebrated figure in Nollywood, best known for his roles in numerous classic films, most notably his performance in the screen adaptation of Chinua Achebe’s “Things Fall Apart.”
Tributes have been pouring in from fans and colleagues alike, remembering Adibe as a “true legend” and expressing condolences. His contributions to Nigerian cinema will be fondly remembered.
