The NPF, in a statement released on its official Facebook page, declared the notice “false, misleading, and not issued by the Force.” The statement explicitly clarified that the purported notice, which claimed Ojo was wanted by the Office of the Inspector General of Police Monitoring Unit, did not originate from any official NPF platform. The Force urged the public to disregard the notice and cease its dissemination. Furthermore, the NPF emphasized the critical importance of verifying information through official NPF communication channels before sharing or reacting to news, in order to mitigate the spread of misinformation.
