Chelsea Football Club has officially announced the extension of Harrison Murray-Campbell’s contract. The academy defender has committed to a new two-year deal, as revealed in a statement released by the club on Tuesday.
Murray-Campbell’s journey with the Blues began at the Under-8 level, and he has consistently impressed throughout his development. His progress culminated in a senior debut in the UEFA Conference League against Shamrock Rovers last season.
The 18-year-old centre-back first featured for the Under-18s during the 2021/22 campaign while still a schoolboy. He solidified his role within the team in the 2023/24 season, becoming a key player in the Under-18s’ Premier League South title-winning campaign, during which he made more appearances than any other player. His contributions also earned him a place in the match-day squad for Chelsea’s Conference League match against Astana last year.
