Gambo characterized the current APC administration as living on borrowed time, metaphorically describing them as occupants of a “rented apartment” whose tenancy is due to expire. He insisted that despite recent electoral setbacks, the state remains a stronghold for the PDP, citing a robust political structure and a history of prosperity under the party’s previous leadership.
“The time for the APC government to pack their load from Lugard House is 2027. It is a call for no retreat, no surrender,” Gambo asserted. He argued that in a transparent electoral process, the PDP possesses the grassroots support necessary to secure a landslide victory, not just at the state level but with ambitions extending to the presidency.
