Kaduna Polytechnic Enforces Academic Integrity, Expels and Suspends Students.

Kaduna State Polytechnic has taken decisive action against academic misconduct, expelling 63 students and suspending 36 others. These disciplinary measures, ratified at the institution’s 114th Academic Board Meeting held on April 30, 2025, stem from investigations into fraudulent admissions and examination malpractice.
The decisions, formalized in a circular released by the Registrar, Dr. Muhammed Tanimu, follow reviews by the Fraudulent Admission and Related Matters Investigation Committee (FARMIC) and the Examination Misconduct Cases and Malpractice Committee (EMCMC). FARMIC identified instances of fraudulent admission, resulting in expulsions and revocations. The EMCMC uncovered widespread examination misconduct across departments including Mass Communication, Building Technology, and Civil Engineering.
While some students were exonerated, those found culpable have faced expulsion or suspension, reflecting the Polytechnic’s unwavering commitment to upholding academic integrity and maintaining stringent disciplinary standards.
