The statement added that Ajatta has held several leadership positions across different states, contributing significantly to the FRSC’s mission of reducing road traffic crashes and enhancing safety awareness nationwide.
Ajatta Outlines Priorities For Rivers Command
During his inaugural address, Ajatta outlined his strategic priorities for the Rivers State Command, emphasizing a renewed focus on operational efficiency and public engagement.
He said his administration will prioritize:
- Enhanced FRSC visibility across major highways and urban routes
- Extensive public enlightenment campaigns on road safety practices
- Training and retraining of staff and drivers to improve professionalism
- Prompt response to rescue operations and clearance of obstructions
- Strengthened collaboration with stakeholders, including transport unions, security agencies, and community leaders
