Enhanced Security Measures for the Festive Season in Adamawa State.

As the Christmas and New Year festivities approach, the Adamawa State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has proactively deployed 1,600 personnel to ensure the safety and security of citizens. This deployment is a strategic initiative aimed at creating a secure environment for all residents during this joyous period.

In an official statement, the NSCDC emphasized its commitment to safeguarding critical national assets, infrastructure, and public spaces, including event centers, markets, and places of worship. Nyako Baba, the state command’s Public Relations Officer, reiterated the agency’s resolve to provide a peaceful and enjoyable festive season for all.

Additionally, the NSCDC has implemented comprehensive security measures across all 21 local government areas in Adamawa State. This effort aims to foster an atmosphere where residents can celebrate without fear. The command has also established collaborative relationships with other security agencies to enhance the overall security framework of the state.

In light of these preparations, the NSCDC encourages citizens to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities, contributing to a safe and harmonious celebration this season.
