Afrobeats superstar Davido, celebrated his wedding to Chioma Rowland in a lavish Miami ceremony, but amidst the joy, he paid a touching tribute to his late son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.
Davido’s Instagram story revealed a pair of custom-made cufflinks, each adorned with Ifeanyi’s image. This sentimental accessory served as a poignant reminder of his son during the joyous occasion.
The white wedding, which followed their traditional ceremony earlier in the year, drew prominent figures from Nigeria’s business, political, and entertainment spheres. Fellow music stars like Adekunle Gold, Teni, and Zlatan Ibile were also in attendance, having celebrated with the couple at their pre-wedding dinner.
Davido disclosed that the Miami celebration came with a hefty price tag of $3.7 million, emphasizing the extravagance of the event. “We spent $3.7m in cash. You should know what we are doing. It’s crazy,” he stated. The wedding marked a significant moment for the couple.
