This is not the first time Davido has spoken out about the abductions. He had earlier urged authorities through social media to intensify rescue efforts and ensure the victims’ safe return.
The singer condemned the rising wave of insecurity across the country, stressing that such incidents must not be allowed to persist.
Nigerian Stars Shine On FIFA World Cup Stage
Meanwhile, Grammy-winning Nigerian artist Burna Boy is scheduled to perform at the FIFA World Cup Opening Ceremony in Mexico City alongside Shakira.
Burna Boy was featured in the official 2026 World Cup song ‘Dia Dia’, a collaboration with Shakira, and the duo are expected to perform the track live at the opening event.
Another Nigerian sensation, Rema, will also perform at the U.S. opening ceremony in Los Angeles, sharing the stage with Lisa and other international pop stars.
