President Bola Ahmed Tinubu recently hosted socialite and celebrity barman Okechukwu Pascal, known popularly as Cubana Chief Priest, at the State House on Sunday, eliciting reactions across social media platforms.

Cubana Chief Priest documented the visit in a video shared on his Instagram page, which shows him kneeling before the President. In the video, President Tinubu can be be heard saying, “I am always seeing you in the Newspapers.”

The socialite’s accompanying caption expressed strong support for the President, stating, “The symbol is the broom together. They can never break us. @officialasiwajubatn 001 My desire for you is more than I can explain.” The “broom” reference alludes to the symbol of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

This meeting follows closely on the heels of Cubana Chief Priest’s encounter with Senate President Godswill Akpabio, alongside musician Davido, in Abuja. Following that prior meeting, the socialite shared advice encouraging his followers to cultivate relationships with individuals who embody their desired future.

The convergence of entertainment figures and political leaders continues to be a noteworthy trend in Nigeria, raising questions about the nature and purpose of such interactions.
