The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has announced a new date for the implementation of its revised service fees, shifting the commencement to October 1. The decision, communicated through a public notice in Abuja, comes as the Commission works to fully stabilise its upgraded Company Registration Portal by mid-September.
Originally, the revised fees were set to take effect on September 1, following an earlier postponement from August 1 due to technical challenges encountered on the new portal. The latest extension is intended to ensure a seamless transition for customers and stakeholders, allowing the CAC to deliver optimum value and efficient, customer-centric services that align with global standards.
In its notice, the CAC expressed gratitude to its customers and stakeholders for their patience and cooperation during this critical phase of transformation. The Commission reaffirmed its commitment to building an intelligent registry that supports Nigeria’s ongoing ease of doing business reforms.
