Popular Nigerian music producer and artiste manager, Soso Soberekon, has proposed a celebrity boxing match between controversial social media personality VeryDarkMan and singer Portable. Reacting to their ongoing public dispute, Soberekon offered N120 million to facilitate the event.

In a recent Instagram post, Soberekon outlined the terms: N100 million for the winner and N20 million for the loser. He emphasized settling the dispute through physical confrontation rather than online arguments, stating, “Let’s turn this online cruise into real-life bruises!” The proposed venue is the KFT Event Center in Warri, Delta State.

This offer is not Soberekon’s first foray into funding celebrity fights, suggesting a continued interest in resolving public disputes through organized boxing matches. The offer awaits acceptance from both VeryDarkMan and Portable.

Nigerian street-pop artist Habeeb Okikiola, known as Portable, has rejected a N100 million proposal to engage in a physical altercation with social media personality Martins Otse (VeryDarkMan). Citing the sum as insufficient, Portable stated he would only consider the fight for N1 billion.

The disagreement between the two figures escalated following Portable’s public criticism of VeryDarkMan’s commentary on President Bola Tinubu’s administration. A heated exchange of diss tracks and online insults has ensued, capturing significant attention across social media platforms.

In a recent video, Portable dismissed the N100 million offer, claiming comparable amounts are regularly gifted to him by his fanbase. He declared that N1 billion would be his price for confronting VeryDarkMan, emphasizing the perceived difficulty in physically restraining his opponent. He further suggested that those offering the sum may be apprehensive of VeryDarkMan themselves, referencing an inability to hold him accountable through legal means.
