On October 30, 2024, Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, achieved a significant milestone by breaking the record for the most-watched live stream in Africa on TikTok. The electrifying event, co-hosted by prominent content creators Peller, Jarvis, and Jo Blaq, captivated an unprecedented audience of 389,800 viewers, with an impressive 164,000 tuning in simultaneously. This remarkable feat surpassed the previous record held by Peller during a live session featuring fellow artist Tiwa Savage.

During the livestream, Davido further solidified his impact by generating 377 lion gifts on TikTok, each valued at $400. In a gesture of generosity, he announced that all earnings from these gifts would be donated to his co-hosts, emphasizing the collaborative spirit that defines his approach to success.
