Villages and Casualties

According to reports, the hardest-hit community was Mamunu, where 16 people were killed.

Other affected areas include:

  • Awashaka: 5 youths killed
  • Masama: 3 residents killed
  • Gorin Dena: 2 killed
  • Kamzo: 2 killed
  • Dan Mai Rago: 2 killed
  • Tungar Bature: 2 killed
  • Tungar Tsoho: 2 killed

By nightfall, residents across the Kangiwa axis remained gripped by fear, amid concerns of further attacks.

Calls for Urgent Government Action

Bakastine warned that the incident underscores the worsening security situation in Kebbi North Senatorial District, urging local and state authorities to take immediate and decisive action.
