The Zamfara State Government, under the leadership of Governor Dauda Lawal, has reiterated its unwavering commitment to the welfare and security of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members deployed in the state. This assurance was made during the conclusion of the three-week Batch C Stream Two orientation course held at the Universal Basic Education Training Centre in Gusau.

Governor Lawal emphasized the importance of hard work, commitment, and dedication among the corps members, urging them to contribute meaningfully to the socio-economic development of Zamfara State. He assured them that his administration is dedicated to providing a safe and conducive environment for their service, enabling them to thrive in their roles.

Additionally, the Governor pledged that outstanding corps members who distinguish themselves during their service year would receive appropriate recognition and rewards, reinforcing the value of excellence in service.

In support of this initiative, Tasi’u Musa Shinkafi, the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, encouraged the corps members to remain dedicated to their primary assignments while engaging in various skill acquisition programmes.

The NYSC State Coordinator, Muhammad Auwal Lawal, commended the State Government for its proactive measures taken to ensure the well-being of the corps members, reflecting a collaborative effort aimed at promoting both security and development within the state.

This commitment from the Zamfara State Government highlights the vital role of youth service in national development and underscores the importance of supporting young individuals as they embark on this transformative journey.
