In a recent gathering in Abeokuta, the Ogun State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Adijat Adeleye, reaffirmed the ministry’s dedication to enhancing the welfare of women and children. Following a 3-in-1 programme that included an annual lecture, an award ceremony, and a New Year party, Adeleye expressed her commitment to empowering women, safeguarding children, and fostering inclusive social development.

Adeleye urged ministry personnel to elevate their performance standards and actively contribute to reforms designed to protect vulnerable groups. “Together, we will continue to break barriers, champion social development, and uplift the lives of women and children across Ogun State,” she proclaimed. During the event, former Head of Service Selimot Otun highlighted the essential role of social workers in strengthening societal cohesion. She challenged ministry workers to strive for excellence, indicating that improved service delivery is key to effecting positive change within communities.
