Nigerian Army Successfully Raids ISWAP Enclave in Borno State.
On March 15, 2025, troops of the Nigerian Army’s 21 Armored Brigade, operating under Operation Hadin Kai and specifically, Operation Desert Sanity 4, successfully raided an Islamic State of West African Province (ISWAP) enclave in Dalari, Borno State.
Intelligence reports, sourced by Zagazola Makama, indicate the operation was executed in the early hours by the 151 Task Force Battalion, in conjunction with the Civilian Joint Task Force and Hybrid forces.
The engagement, which commenced around 7:10 a.m., resulted in the neutralization of four insurgents. Additional ISWAP fighters are believed to have sustained injuries and fled the scene.
The operation yielded a substantial recovery of arms, ammunition, and explosive devices, further disrupting ISWAP’s operational capabilities in the region. This successful raid underscores the Nigerian Army’s continued commitment to combating insurgency and restoring peace in Northeastern Nigeria.
