In a recent announcement, the management of Niger Tornadoes has granted the players a well-deserved 10-day break to celebrate the New Year with their families. This decision comes on the heels of the conclusion of the first stanza of the 2024/25 season, during which the team faced a challenging match against defending champions Rangers, ultimately losing 1-0 at the Bako Kontagaro Stadium in Minna.

Currently, the Ikon Allah Boys find themselves in ninth position on the league table, having accumulated 24 points thus far. As the team prepares for the upcoming challenges, they will return to action with a crucial away match against Rangers in Enugu, marking the start of the second half of the season.

The resumption of play is scheduled for January 19, providing the players with an opportunity to recharge and regroup as they aim to improve their standing in the league. The management encourages all fans to support the team during this festive period and looks forward to a successful second stanza.
