In a recent development, Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okunneye, widely known as Bobrisky, has addressed a letter from prominent lawyer Femi Falana and his son, musician Falz. The letter, which has garnered attention across social media platforms, called for an apology from Bobrisky within 12 hours, citing alleged defamatory remarks made in audio recordings circulated by social media activist VeryDarkMan.

In a resolute statement shared on his Instagram Story, Bobrisky denied any allegations of defamation and refuted claims regarding bribing the Senior Advocate of Nigeria for a presidential pardon. He expressed his intent to refrain from further public commentary on the issue, asserting that he would entrust all legal matters to his attorney.

Bobrisky emphasized accountability on the part of the individual responsible for the audio recordings, declaring, “I, OKUNEYE Idris aka BOBRISKY didn’t give Falz or his dad any money for pardon. As a matter of fact, no penny was given to them.” He reiterated his position, stating, “The person that published an Audio online should take fully responsible for what he posted in public.”

This incident highlights the ongoing complexities of defamation claims in the digital age, underscoring the importance of responsible discourse and accountability on social media platforms.
